This is how a hard rock miner builds a house, blasted out of a Navajo Sandstone knoll. Building this house has been the quintessential paycheck project and we are nearing completion with one room to go. Started in 1995, it is over 5,000 sq. ft.
Along the way, we have had some great help from people who know a whole lot more than we do about generating power from a hydroplant, finishing concrete, hydronic infrastructure and list goes on. These photos are somewhat chronological.
